Hazmax boots are constructed of a proprietary, chemically resistant and high visibility compound that has been trusted by hazardrous materials emergency teams around the world, when faced with chemical, biological or poisonous gas clean-up. Meets and surpasses NFPA 1991,2000 edition for chemical permeation resistance requirements and the requirements for the optional chemical and biological certification. Exceeds ANSI & standards for Dielectric footwear. Easier to don and doff when wearing a chemical protective suit. New non-slip EZ-decon outsole for easier decontamination and clean-up. Steel safety toe, shank, and full steel midsole for complete safety. One-piece injection molded construction with no buttons or elastic bands to break, and easier decontamination. Constructed of a high viscosity and flexible PVC alloy.
